Emily B. Ridgway, MD

Ridgway Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa is led by Dr. Emily Ridgway.  Based in Bozeman, Montana since 2017, Dr. Ridgway graduated from the University of Virginia (B.A., 1995) and Columbia University (M.D., 2000). She then completed a six-year residency in neurosurgery at New York University, followed by a three-year plastic surgery residency and a one-year craniofacial fellowship, both at Harvard University.

From 2010 through 2017, Dr. Ridgway was an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. She has been board certified by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons since 2012.

For three generations, Dr. Ridgway’s family has practiced medicine in the greater Yellowstone area.  It was, in part, this legacy and her strong connection to the region, that led her to establish her practice in Bozeman. Her extensive medical experience, coupled with her reputation for being a compassionate physician who listens to her patients’ physical, emotional and situational needs has established her as a leading plastic surgeon in the region. Her grounding in neurosurgery informs her perspective on the most minute scale, where detail matters most. Closely connected with current research and teaching, Dr. Ridgway is constantly bringing new surgical techniques and technologies to patients in the Rocky Mountain west.

Dr. Ridgway lives in Bozeman with her husband, two young sons, and daughter.
